Provide internal dimensions where possible. Allow space for inserts, tissue and the product itself; an exterior measurement alone does not define the usable space.
02 / Paper, color and construction.
Match the material to its purpose.
- Printed surfaces: discuss coated or uncoated papers for your artwork and desired appearance.
- Natural appearance: consider kraft paper references and how print color appears on that base.
- Structure: discuss board and corrugated construction according to the box format and intended handling.
- Color: provide a physical reference or color specification; review the result on the chosen material.

Gold & silver foil
Use metallic accents for a logo or selected details. Confirm the foil area and suitability of fine artwork.

Highlight selected areas through surface contrast. Define the placement separately in the artwork.
